Christmas Reunion in California!
The Florentin family traveled to Lake Forest CA to visit with the rest of the Florentin clan. Linda (Gregg's mom) got to have all of her children together after 9 years of visiting them seperately. Donna and Hollis were our gracious hosts. Maddy (Hollis's daughter) was also very sweet with the "take over." We hung out, hit the beach, shopped till we dropped, knocked out Knott's Berry Farm, managed Magic Mountain, and had a blast! The kids did great with the coasters! Colette found a ride she didn't like for the first time(The x2) but she also out did her older brother, Dallin and cousin Anthony at Knott's. Bennet enjoyed his first loop coaster (Montezuma's revenge) and loved it. The kid's enjoyed the beach and pier even though it was less than warm! I took pictures of them while I was bundled up in my coat and gloves! Ashtonn and Quincy bonded and all the grown ups worked on their pool game! We had a fabulous Christmas and were surprised to see that Santa had left us presents when we made it back to Medford, OR.
We're are determined to get together much sooner next time!

Days of Summer
The Florentins have had a wonderful Summer so far. The kids were out of school the first week of June and we haven't stopped yet! We have gone to San Francisco and visited Great grandma Tischer, a Giants baseball game, Great America, Six Flags, Raging Waters, The coast, the giant Redwoods and a super fun family reunion! The rest of the time has been spent swimming in the pool and playing with friends. Fun, Fun Fun!
Ashtonn also had his fourth birthday and had a cool swimming party.
We are staying home now and waiting for school to start . . . well at least I am!

Colette's baptisms
Colette was baptised on March 7th. We had a lot of family and friends there to attend her special day! Dallin gave a talk on the Holy Ghost and did such a great job! Colette loved her dress, which we found at Costco! Only $15!
The baptism was beautiful and the spirit was very strong. We know Colette is a valiant girl. She is a great example to all those who know her!
Colette got upset with me the other day when I was questioning her about something. She said, "Mom, I'm baptized now, I'll always tell the truth!" I was so pleased to hear her really "getting it."

We've had an amazing Fall season so far. The kids had a ton of fun (and candy) on Halloween. They chose some fab costumes. We always hit Goodwill early to get the best selection!
Soccer went by in a blur. The kids had fun watching us run them around from game to game and practice to practice. It was well worth it.

The older boys are enjoying karate and continue to advance in rank. They get to go almost everyday and can't wait to get their "black belts!"
