Watch out, here comes the Florentin's!
 Colette, the "don't-let-this-skirt-fool-you," Florentin

They didn't want pictures in front of the school, but I took them anyway!

Colette is glad she only has to wear the hats for formal occasions or field trips. I like the "Madeline look" myself!
The first day of school couldn't come soon enough for my rowdy group! They were up early and put on their new "digs"! I think they look absolutely adorable/handsome in their uniforms! They let me take pictures at home but when we got to school they were afraid I would ruin their chance of popularity if anyone saw me taking their pictures! I took some anyway just to keep them humble. (:

Day cruise around the islands . . .

We took a day cruise to three Greek islands; Hydra, Poros and Aegina. We enjoyed walking around each island and absorbing the unique characteristics they had. Hydra- picturesque, Poros-Gelato, Aegina-beaches and pistachios.

Colette living up the "cruise way of life."

We had a blast exploring the city. We especially enjoyed the "plaka." it is a series of narrow roads lines with shops and restaurants. We ate there as often as we could and filled up on Gyros and gelato!

Our Trojan warrior with gelato cheeks. Still scary  . . . (:

We bought this book at the museum and Bennet couldn't put it down!
The modern city is full of columns also.  This is he library.
There was never a shortage of street musicians, vendors or dogs and cats! Ashtonn made an attempt to be friend all of them!

We took the scenic "hop on hop off" tour bus to navigate all the sites. The buses were double decker and the kids had fun sitting on top.
 Modern olympic venues.
