Chao Phraya river ride

We went for a river ride in a traditional long boat.  The only thing not traditional would be the car engine they used to propel us through the less than sparkling water. Everything in Bangkok is strangely beautiful. From purple fences, blue tile roofs and rainbow fruit, it's like Dorothy walking out of black and white into full color.

The locals were fishing, drying laundry or paddling up by the boat to sell their wares.  We even saw a huge Komodo dragon! What an adventure!
